City of Sheboygan to Hold Inaugural Tourism Breakfast at Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center
New Sheboygan Shores City Tourism Guide to be Unveiled

(Sheboygan, Wis.) – April 25, 2006 – The City of Sheboygan's Tourism Division is pleased to announce its inaugural Tourism Breakfast on May 2, 2006, at 7:30 a.m. at the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center.

"The City is focused on tourism and bringing visitors to Sheboygan. This breakfast will give our business partners an update on our activities for the past five months, as well as premiere the City's new tourism publication. Sheboygan Shores will serve as a welcoming piece to visitors, and our Tourism Division will use this piece to introduce new visitors to the City," said Mayor Juan Perez.

Sheboygan Shores, spotlights City attractions and will be distributed at City lodging facilities and used as a fulfillment piece along with the Chamber’s visitor’s guide in responding to visitor inquiries.

"Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center, together with our historic bed and breakfasts, and our variety of lodging opportunities, place us in the perfect position to welcome visitors from throughout the Midwest. Our City assets including the Stefanie Weill Center, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and the Above & Beyond Children's Museum are just a few of the activities that families and couples may enjoy during their visit to Sheboygan," continued Mayor Perez.

The Tourism Breakfast will also allow attendees to hear from Keith Moses, Blue Harbor Resort's new General Manager, and tour the Conference Center.

“Sheboygan is a wonderful tourism destination, and the City is taking some very positive steps to help create additional awareness,” said Moses. “I am thrilled that Blue Harbor Resort is helping to host the launch of the City’s new Tourism Guide.”

The community is welcome to attend.  For more information or to attend the breakfast, please contact the City's Tourism Division at 920-459-0208.
