John Michael Kohler Arts Center

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization established in 1967 for aesthetic and educational purposes. Its mission is to encourage and support innovative explorations in the arts and to foster an exchange between a national community of artists and a broad public that will help realize the power of the arts to inspire and transform our world.

The Arts Center serves as laboratory for the creation of new works, nurturer of interdisciplinary initiatives, originator of exhibitions, presenter and producer of performing arts, educator, publisher of critical writings, community builder, and advocate for issues affecting the arts. Above & Beyond Children's Museum

Almost 10,000 square feet of exhibit space offer a vast interactive environment where families can discover hands on learning together. The building that houses the museum was built in 1892 and is land marked. The building was People's Clothing Store for many years with offices on the second floor and apartments on the 3rd floor.


Road America

Road America is a four-mile permanent road course with fourteen turns outlined by seven miles of access road on 626 acres of land. In addition to the original four-mile course, there is the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex. This 0.8 mile course with varying terrain and challenging turns (multiple configurations include an oval) challenges drivers in race-prepared karts and riders on Super Motors.

Bookworm Gardens is a vibrant, playful children's garden that enhances literature, the natural world, and the imagination. Located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the garden is adjacent to UW Sheboygan and is across from the UW Extension offices which house the Sheboygan County Master Gardeners.

The 2 acre garden will offer the young and young at heart the opportunity for free, unstructured play in a beautiful and secure environment. Classes in horticulture, literature, art and cooking will be offered, as well as concerts, plays and special events.
The plants are sleeping for the winter, but the trails are still accessible. Just wear your boots!
