Because there are so many things to do in Sheboygan, we’ve hand-selected three of our favorites springtime activities for your convenience.

Sheboygan Golf Courses

There are several superb golf courses in the Sheboygan area, which helped earn our county the title of “the seventh best golf destination in the world” by Golf Magazine years ago. Two Sheboygan golf courses specifically stand out among the rest: Pine Hills Country Club and The Bull at Pinehurst Farms. Pine Hills is located on the western edge of town along the lazy Pigeon River, and it remains one of the best-kept secrets in Wisconsin. The course is highlighted by tree-lined fairways, pristine raised greens, and serene water hazards. The Bull, meanwhile, is the only Jack Nicklaus signature course in Wisconsin that’s ranked inside Golf Digest’s “Top 100 You Can Play.” Pinehurst Farms covers over 400 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and the meandering Onion River. The lush forestry makes The Bull one of the most popular golf courses in the Midwest, especially during autumn’s peak.

Lake Michigan Charter Sport Fishing

Sport fishing is easily one of the most rewarding things to do in Sheboygan as Lake Michigan is home to a diverse, thriving fish population. There are over a dozen highly-rated professional fishing charters here in Sheboygan, many of which are within walking distance of Blue Harbor Resort, including Action Adventure Phoenix Charters, Dumper Dan’s, Last Chance Charters, and Wolfpack Adventures. Each charter offers something unique, so we recommend browsing through the many options before choosing the one that’s right for you! Lake Michigan is teeming will massive freshwater king salmon, feisty coho salmon, whitefish, and three species of lake trout, including the beautiful rainbow trout.

There’s no need calling ahead for rentals – simply show up, and you’ll be in the water within minutes! Kayak rentals start at just $20 per hour, but many of our guests rent them for several days.
