About Black Frog Farm

Black Frog Farm is a small, family-run farm near Blue Harbor Resort specializing in poultry and llama breeding with a focus on education of animal care, sustainability, and keeping healthy animals. They believe that with animal ownership comes a responsibility to properly care for those animals.

Providing foster care for animals through several rescues has become a part of the larger vision at Black Frog Farm. They have taken in several species of animals through rescue, most notably llamas and cats, as there are not many places that will take these animals in. They have also taken in rescue sheep, a pig, peacocks, and chickens.

Their agritourism offerings include private tours of the farm to meet their friendly animals from llamas, KuneKune pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and cats. Tours are tailored to each group's interests and last approximately one and a half to two hours.

Tours of Black Frog Farm are offered May through October by appointment. Adults and children two years of age and up are $8 each. Children under two are free. All proceeds from the tours are used towards feeding and caring for the animals at Black Frog Farm.
