Labor Day weekend unofficially kicks off surf season in Sheboygan and for many years, surfers have gathered this weekend at North Beach / Deland Park for a taste of the lake life and, if the conditions are right, catching a freshwater wave.
Surfers will enjoy uncrowded waves and a lack of sharks on Lake Michigan as well as a friendly Midwestern welcome in Sheboygan, WI.
The Riptide Double Surf Simulator
If braving Lake Michigan isn't your thing, the Riptide Double Surf Simulator is the next best thing! Learn how to ride the waves in our 84-degree indoor Breaker Bay Waterpark. Wait in line for a turn to give it a try, or sign up for personal instruction from one of our professionals!
Riptide Surf Club
Joining the Surf Club, will get you one hour of personal instruction from one of our experienced lifeguard surf instructors. You'll enjoy a dedicated lane just for you to try out your surf skills, while the other lane accommodates our other guests.
Your one-hour personal instruction may be shared with up to four people in the same group for $40 per person. Time slots are subject to availability and may be booked at the Arcade. Participants must comply with all Riptide rules and regulations and must have completed the RipTide waiver before they are allowed on the Riptide.
There are so many other family fun activities to explore at Breaker Bay Waterpark! Your kids will love Molly's Moat lazy river and the popular Lily Hopper, but there is also an outdoor pool (weather permitting) and snacks and drinks for the whole family from Rocky Bottom Snack Bar and The Sand Bar.
